Reform BCP will be standing candidates across Bournemouth, Poole and Broadstone in the Town Council elections on 7 May.
While we opposed the creation of these new councils, the decision has now been made. Our focus now is simple: if Town Councils are going to exist, they must be run efficiently, transparently, and at the lowest possible cost to local taxpayers.
Reform candidates will work to ensure residents are not charged twice for services they already pay for, that money raised locally is spent on visible improvements in our communities, and that those in power remember they are public servants, answerable to residents.
As our campaign gathers momentum across BCP, we are always looking for local supporters who would like to get involved — whether that’s delivering a few leaflets in your area, helping at events, or simply spreading the word.
If you would like to help, we would be delighted to hear from you.
When will these be announced, the elections are getting close.
We have to wait until after the official close of Nominations by the council. But will announce here (and several other outlets) just as soon as we can
I’ll be voting reform Bournemouth. Also helping people register to vote for may 7th.
Thanks for this information. Who is the Reform candidate in May for BCP?
Many thanks,
Richard
Hi Richard. The elections this May (2026) are for the new Town Councils – BCP elections are not until next year. However we will publish the full list of candidates here as soon as the official nominations are closed. Rest assured we will have candidate(s) standing in your area. Please check back soon.
Please could you put out a list of Candidates and the areas they will be representing
Just done that now Ray, take a look here: https://reformbcp.co.uk/local-election-candidates-2026
