Poole, located on England’s picturesque south coast, is a historic town known for its stunning natural harbour—one of the largest in the world—and beautiful beaches. Rich in maritime history, Poole has been a bustling centre of trade since the Middle Ages. Today, it is celebrated for its vibrant coastal culture, thriving local businesses, and scenic landscapes, making it a sought-after place to live and visit.

Xena Dion: Chair of the Reform UK Poole Branch

Xena Dion, a long-time Poole resident, has dedicated much of her life to public service. Living in Poole for over 30 years, she has a background in Nursing, Midwifery, and Public Health, and has held various influential roles in local government, including chairing several committees and serving as the Portfolio Holder for Transportation, Environmental Services, Economic Development, and Culture. During her tenure, she was instrumental in securing Poole as the UK host for the prominent European Maritime Day, enhancing Poole’s international profile and supporting local business growth.

A dedicated community advocate, Xena joined Reform UK with the vision of reinvigorating public trust in political leadership and advocating for clear, future-focused policies. Passionate about animals, she also volunteers for two animal charities, helping care home residents enjoy the companionship of her dogs and assessing homes for a pet rescue centre.
