Local Election Candidates 2026

L

Following the close of nominations, we are proud to present the full list of Reform candidates standing in the upcoming local elections. Across every ward, these are local people stepping forward to represent their communities – bringing real-world experience, common sense, and a shared commitment to putting residents first.

This is more than just a list of names. It is a team built from across the area, united by a belief that local government should be accountable, efficient, and focused on delivering the basics well. Each candidate has made the decision to stand not for personal gain, but to give their time and energy to improving the places we all call home.

Take a moment to find your local candidate and learn more about who is standing in your ward. And if you share our vision, we encourage you to get involved – whether that is by supporting your local candidate, volunteering and leafletting, or simply making sure your voice is heard on election day.

    • Christchurch already has its own Town Council, so this is only for areas that don’t yet have them. However rest assured, we will stand candidates in every Christchurch ward in your next BCP election in 2027

  • When I go to vote at my local elections and in my area there are x2 candidates for reform do I tick both of them or just one of them ?

    • In most wards they are electing more than one councillor. So if we are standing two candidates, it’s because you’re allowed to vote for two different people. – so please do tick both of them for us! Thank you
